KA-CHING!
i always tell my friends and family who plan on visiting stockholm to save all their shopping money for here. in my opinion, this is the best city ever for shopping.
here are some of my favorite "recent" (some are not recent at all.. i am just the laziest blogger on the planet) buys:
shearling-lined boots from whyred. these are brilliant for many reasons, but mainly because in the winter here, the snow will ruin your shoes unless you wear snowboot type no f'ing around shoes. i'm never prepared to put my shoes through that abuse so i end up looking and feeling like a big boring schlump (just made that up) until may. whyred felt my pain, i suppose, and came up with THESE. they are warm, unbelievably comfortable, made of the right winter materials and the gummy soles help me not die on the ice. i am so grateful...
leather jacket from acne. the hood is lamb fur, detachable, and makes the world alright when i have it up.
motorcycle-style cotton jacket from acne also. the acne archive is right down the street from where i work which is why my wardrobe is possibly over acnefied-out. this jacket was a sample piece and never went into normal production. it's really soft!
bag from givenchy. i spent a good several months straight stalking this bag, hoping it would go on some kind of a "reasonable" sale, and eventually, it did! tack, mytheresa.
fake fur coat (that sheds absolutely everywhere) from zara.
i think i'm singlehandedly boosting the swedish economy (besides the zara coat). i love swedish fashion!
